A Birmingham-based consultancy dedicated to practical environmental solutions that deliver measurable results.
Spire-Perch was established in 2017 by a group of environmental scientists and policy specialists who saw a gap between academic expertise and practical implementation. Too often, organisations struggled to translate good environmental intentions into tangible outcomes.
We set out to bridge that gap. Our founders brought together expertise from ecology, environmental engineering, corporate sustainability, and local government planning. This combination allows us to understand challenges from multiple angles and design solutions that work in the real world.
Based in Birmingham's city centre, we serve clients across the West Midlands and beyond, from small businesses making their first sustainability commitments to large organisations refining sophisticated environmental programmes.
Cumulative results from our work with clients since 2017.
Principles that guide every project and client relationship.
Every recommendation we make is grounded in data, scientific literature, and practical experience. We measure what matters and track outcomes rigorously.
We explain our methodology clearly, acknowledge uncertainties, and keep clients informed throughout every project phase. No jargon, no surprises.
Environmental progress should not come at the expense of organisational viability. We find approaches that serve ecological and business objectives together.
We work alongside your team, not in isolation. The most effective environmental programmes are those owned by the people who implement them daily.
Assessment: We begin with a thorough analysis of your current environmental position, including emissions, waste streams, resource use, and biodiversity impacts. This establishes a clear baseline against which progress can be measured.
Strategy: Based on assessment findings, we develop prioritised recommendations tailored to your specific circumstances, ambitions, and constraints. Each recommendation includes expected outcomes, implementation requirements, and indicative costs.
Implementation: We support the practical delivery of agreed initiatives, providing technical guidance, project management, and stakeholder engagement as required.
Monitoring: Ongoing measurement ensures initiatives deliver expected benefits and allows for course corrections when circumstances change.
